Taxi between Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan
Ramat Gan touches Tel Aviv, which makes it the shortest trip on this site and the one people most often get wrong. A direct ride is usually quicker than waiting for anything else, and it drops you at the door — which matters at a hospital or an appointment you cannot be late for.

The short hop that is not walkable
Ramat Gan borders Tel Aviv, but the parts people actually travel to are not on the border. The diamond exchange and the Bursa sit in the north-west, and Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer is out to the east, past Bar-Ilan University. Depending on where you start, the trip runs about 15 to 25 minutes.
It is the kind of journey where a car earns its place: too far to walk, awkward by bus, and the difference between arriving composed and arriving flustered.
Hospitals and appointments
Sheba at Tel HaShomer is one of the largest hospitals in the country, and much of our Ramat Gan work is hospital runs. Appointments do not wait, so give the appointment time rather than the pickup time and let the driver work backwards from it.
For the return leg, ask the driver to call when you are finished rather than committing to a fixed time — appointments run over, and a car waiting on the clock costs you money.
Business and leisure
The Ramat Gan Diamond Exchange is one of the largest diamond trading centres in the world, and much of the weekday traffic is business: early airport arrivals going straight to a meeting, and late departures back to Ben Gurion.
At the other end of the day, Ramat Gan Safari Park is a family destination that is genuinely awkward without a car, and we take groups there regularly.
