Large taxis in Tel Aviv — seven seats, minibus and groups

Travelling together takes more than choosing a passenger number. Tell us everyone who is travelling and everything you need to carry, then confirm a suitable vehicle and the total for your Tel Aviv or Ben Gurion Airport journey.

  • Exact passenger count, including children
  • Seats and luggage space checked together
  • Availability and total agreed before travel

Requesting a taxi for six, seven or eight passengers

Describe your actual group rather than asking only for a “seven-seater”. A vehicle description may include the driver’s seat, and using more seats can reduce the space available for bags. Ask how many passenger places the proposed vehicle provides with your luggage aboard.

The calculator accepts a range of passenger counts to prepare an enquiry. That choice is not a vehicle assignment or a capacity guarantee. For a larger group, the service may propose a suitable larger vehicle or more than one car, subject to availability.

Make one luggage list for the whole group

Count large suitcases and cabin bags separately. Mention a folded pushchair, sports equipment or any item whose size is unusual. If you do not know the dimensions, describe the item before accepting the vehicle rather than discovering the problem at pickup.

A family landing with two large suitcases and a pushchair has different needs from colleagues carrying small work bags. Confirm that the proposed arrangement covers both passenger places and the complete luggage list. See the practical passenger checklist.

Children and individual travel requests

Include children in the passenger total and send any child-seat requests when enquiring. Confirm the requested equipment, its suitability and any charge before relying on it. A note in a booking request does not establish that equipment is available.

Describe a folded mobility aid or assistance needed at the pickup point in advance. Ask about the specific proposed vehicle and entrance; a large vehicle alone does not establish step-free access or suitability for a particular need.

One vehicle or separate cars?

Compare the confirmed total for the available options, including luggage, waiting and extra collection addresses. One larger vehicle is not automatically cheaper than two cars. Separate cars also need clear passenger assignments and an agreed destination for each driver.

If people arrive on different flights, confirm whether the group will wait together or travel separately. Supply each relevant landing date and flight number. Read the airport pickup information before arranging a shared meeting plan.

Confirm the outward and return journeys separately

For a hotel departure, give the exact entrance, collection time and terminal required by the airline. For an arrival, agree how to make contact after landing and how waiting is handled. Do not treat landing time as the time everyone will be ready outside.

A return ride may have different passengers, luggage or a different hotel. Include those changes in the return request. The published prices are a starting point for listed routes; use the ride request to obtain confirmation for your group.

Which vehicle fits how many passengers

No single rule decides the vehicle: the passenger count and the suitcase count decide it together. The table below is a starting point for what to ask for, not a promise of a specific car.

Passengers and luggageUsually requestedWhy it matters
1–4 passengers, up to 4 casesStandard taxiNo need for a larger vehicle
5–7 passengers, up to 6 casesLarge car / seven seatsEveryone fits — the cases fill the boot
8 passengers and overMinibus, subject to availabilityLarge group or equipment; arranged in advance
Extra cases or equipmentOne size up from the passenger countOne case per passenger in summer is already seven

Requests such as child seats, buggies or pickups from two different addresses change the seating and are agreed in advance. For a group flying out of Ben Gurion it is also worth asking whether one large vehicle or two smaller ones is the better fit: one is usually cheaper, two sometimes collect faster. Frequently asked questions

Can I request a taxi for seven passengers to Ben Gurion?

Yes, send an enquiry with seven passengers and the full luggage list. Usable passenger seats, vehicle availability, requested equipment and the total need confirmation; choosing seven in the form does not reserve a vehicle.

Does every large taxi carry eight people and eight suitcases?

No standard capacity is promised here. Passenger places and luggage space depend on the offered vehicle and configuration. Describe your complete group and bags for a specific confirmation.

Is a child seat included automatically?

Request the equipment in advance and obtain confirmation of availability, suitability and any charge. Do not assume it is included because the group contains children.

Can our group make more than one hotel pickup?

Request all collection addresses and the proposed order before agreeing the fare and timing. Extra stops and waiting must be included in the confirmed arrangement.

Can I book a minibus rather than a large taxi?

Yes, when the group or the equipment needs it. Send the passenger and suitcase counts and we confirm which vehicle is available and the total fare.

How many suitcases fit in a seven-seat car?

Usually one case per passenger, but it depends on case size. If you have large cases, equipment or a buggy, say so in advance so the right vehicle is checked.

Can I order a six-seat taxi in Tel Aviv?

"Six-seat taxi" describes a request for six passengers, not a particular model. What decides the vehicle is the passenger count together with the number of cases: six people with little luggage can suit a larger car where some seats give their space to the bags. If you asked for a seven-seat car, confirm that the seventh seat is free for a passenger and not for a suitcase. Send the passenger count and the full luggage list, and we confirm which vehicle is available, how many usable seats it has and the total fare. Choosing a number in the form does not reserve a vehicle.
